Sémillon

Sémillon is gorgeously full-bodied like a Chardonnay but with flavour characteristics closer to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris. Its primary fruit flavours are apple, lemon, green papaya and pear, and its modest popularity belies its considerable ability to make potent, rich whites. Bordeaux Sémillon is primarily blended with Sauvignon Blanc to create magical dry whites and Sauternes (dessert wine) and Australia has bragging rights for producing modern classics. Excellent wine store! Probably the best in town. You can find wall kinds of wine and from around the world. I even found a wine from my hometown Uruguay which is not easy to find at all on this side of the globe.
