"Deep red and dark berries, dry yet fruit forward with soft tannins. Mulberries, red currants, crème de cassis and old-fashioned raspberry notes present a French nouveau style wine – dangerously thirst quenching when lightly chilled and smoothly moorish at room temperature. A wine to be enjoyed now.

The La Carbonique is fermented using carbonic maceration and made in the French nouveau-style of pinot noir. It includes all of our pinot clones alongside rogue vines such as muscat, sauvignon, pinot gris and others – a unique characteristic of the winemaking process. Vine age from 18-23 years. This certified organic wine is best served lightly chilled to start, and enjoyed even more as it warms and opens up in the glass."

"Pops from the glass with pretty, sweet, red cherry, cranberry drink. It’s very bright and energetic while also being very minerally, racy almost, sheathed in alpine herb-laced tannin and shoots out a cooling succulence through the finish. Awesome energy here. Finesse too. Such a vivid pinot."
