Kin is a deliciously vibrant wine made to enliven any gatherings of family and friends. A dark and brooding Pinot Noir with aromas of black cherry, plum and chocolate. Black cherry, cola and spice follow through on the palate with orange peel nuances and a distinctive dried herb bouquet."

"Kin Pinot Noir 2020 is a blend of Bannockburn and Northburn fruit. I think we’re accustomed to lighter colour Pinots in our glass now, aren’t we? It doesn’t mean less in terms of flavour – and certainly not a lighter perfume. This has a rose petal floral that is so attractive, mixed with juicy redcurrant and blueberry fruits and a touch of dried herb. Dry, clean and tight, with real brio and energy on the palate. A tartness of fruit, and a root beer, cherry stone note sits well with some grippy tannin to make a really characterful expression. Again, well-crafted for this range."

"Aromas and flavours of a fresh, vibrant and youthful Pinot Noir. Flavours of raspberries and cherries, some barrel spices and dry stone mineral qualities. Tannins are polished and quite fine with a youthful firmness adding texture and foundation. Acidity is lively and fresh adding crunch and mouthfeel as well as carrying the fruit flavours across the palate. Well made, dry and with good length. Best drinking from early 2024 through 2029."

"Deep ruby-red with good transparency, lighter on edge. The nose is youthful and vibrant, with aromas of red cherries, young plums, sweet vanilla and a hint of herb and earth. Medium-bodied, red cherries and plums enriched by sweet vanilla, cinnamon and wet earth linger with vine leaf herbaceousness. Fine, smooth-grained tannins provide a light grip and fragrant palate; herbaceous elements add interest. This fragrant, youthful Pinot Noir features red fruit, sweet spice and earth on a smooth palate. Match with roasted duck and lamb meatballs over the next 3-5 years. Fruit from Bannockburn and Northburn, destemmed to open top fermenters, spent 10-22 days on skins."
