Winery notes (2015 Vintage)
"An autumnal bake-up of soft sweet figs, poached pears and quince, scented with a hint of mulling spices, topped with almond crumble. An opulently ripe expression of the pinot gris grape with great texture and a luscious off-dry richness that finishes crisply with considerable power and length."

5 Stars Michael Cooper (2015 Vintage)
"Grown in the Brancott Valley (principally) and at Rapaura, the 2015 vintage was mostly (80 per cent) fermented with indigenous yeasts in old oak barrels and wood-matured for seven months; 20 per cent of the blend was handled with cultured yeasts in tanks. A lovely young wine, showing greater complexity than most Pinot Gris, it is fleshy and vibrantly fruity, with mouthfilling body and deep, ripe peach/pear flavours, slightly sweet (10 grams/litre of residual sugar) and well-rounded. A rich, subtle, finely poised wine, it should be at its best 2018+."

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, January 2017 (2015 Vintage)
"Complex, mouthfilling and engaging, this is both stylish and delicious, exhibiting poached pear, rockmelon, jasmine and subtle spice aromas. The palate is superbly ripe and generous, while remaining vibrant and bright, wonderfully supported by silky texture and juicy acidity. The wine offers best of the Old and New Worlds, showing ripe fruit intensity and seductive savoury complexity. At its best: now to 2021."

91/100 Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, June 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Ripe pear, lychee, some spice and funk. Showing some age and complexity, sweetness and some residual sugar at play, perfume and powder puff and apple stuff. Finish has a bit of grain and grip. Some warm alcohol a minor quibble. It’s flavoursome."
