Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"The Carrick Rosé is made from estate grown, single vineyard, BioGro certified organic Pinot Noir grapes. The grapes are hand-harvested from the lower terrace of our Towan Vineyard, the first grapes to be picked. They are crushed to extract colour, then pressed. Following settling, the juice is racked to old oak barriques for fermentation and maturation. This wine is also the first of the vintage to be bottled to capture the freshness of this wine.
A deliciously dry and refreshing rosé, made entirely from Pinot Noir. It has notes of strawberry and raspberries. Pale salmon in colour, with a mineral, saline streak and a lively finish. Best served chilled with a platter, on a deck with friends and family."

Rated Excellent & 93/100 Cameron Douglas MS, March 2021 (2020 Vintage)
"Aromas of exotic fruits and spices with saffron and apricot, crushed roses and red apple, hints of mineral and yellow cherry. On the palate – vibrant, silky textured, fruity and floral. Flavours of stone and tropical fruits reflect the bouquet with some texture from fruit tannins and medium+ acidity. Lovely food wine, balanced and ready. Best drinking from today and through 2022."
91/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, March 2021 (2020 Vintage)
"Restrained and savoury, the delicately lifted bouquet shows raspberry, lemon/lime, crunchy apple and flinty notes, followed by a focused palate displaying linear mouthfeel and lively acidity, finishing lingering and crisp-dry. At its best: now to 2022."
