Winery notes (2016 Vintage)
"Albariño, native to Galicia on the North Atlantic coast of Spain, is revered for its delightfully fresh aromatics and brisk acidity. Though still brisk, this offering is a touch softer than previous vintages while maintaining typical aromas of white peach, jasmine and the seaside. It has a dry, crisp, salty mineral-driven palate that pairs elegantly with seafood and garden fresh salads."
90/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit (2016 Vintage)
"Pristine and delicately aromatic, the elegant bouquet shows white nectarine, lemon peel, green rockmelon and floral characters. The palate offers excellent focus and purity, combined with vibrant acidity, finishing superbly long and crisp. A brilliant wine to partner fresh seafood dishes. At its best: now to 2019."
4 Stars Raymond Chan, December 2016 (2016 Vintage)
"Full, bright straw-yellow colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is tight and finely concentrated with good depth of white floral and lime fruit aromas along with mineral elements and suggestions of saline. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses vibrantly juicy, but tightly concentrated flavours of white florals, lime fruit, minerals and saline elements. The mouthfeel is bright with refreshing and slippery acidity and the wine flows along a fine-textured, smooth, phenolic line. There is plenty of acidity to provide energy, and the wine carries to an aromatic finish of white florals and minerals. This is a vibrant, slippery, dry Albarino with flavours of white florals, citrus fruits and salty minerals with good linearity. Serve as an aperitif, with seafood, and Asian cuisine over the next 3+ years. Fruit from the company’s ’Hope’ vineyard and from the ‘Harrey’ vineyard, fermented in tank to 12.5% alc. and 4.3 g/L RS, TA 8.3 g/L and pH 3.14."
88/100 Cameron Douglas MS (2016 Vintage)
"Attractive bouquet of varietal Albarino showing a core of white peach, apple and honeysuckle, some stony mineral undertones and medium+ intensity overall. On the palate - equally fruity with a ripe and crisp acid bite, flavours of tree fruit and a distinctive citrus high note, light wet stone mineral, a hint of honeysuckle; balanced and well made  - a decent example."
