New Zealand Organic Wine Awards 2017 (2016 Vintage)
“…..this is an engaging style displaying complex aromas of lemon peel, rockmelon, ripe strawberry and subtle spice on the nose. The palate is concentrated and beautifully weighted, and delivers excellent vibrancy and fine texture, brilliantly structured by juicy acidity”

5 Stars Winestate (2016 Vintage)
"Sturdy and rich, this is a classy, distinctive rosé, made from co-fermented pinot noir (80%) and syrah (20%). Light pink, it is deliciously fragrant, full-bodied and soft, with generous strawberry and spice flavours, hints of peach and apricot, and a fresh, smooth finish. A highly satisfying wine, it’s delicious young. Certified organic."

5 Stars Michael Cooper (2016 Vintage)

Light pink, it is deliciously fragrant, full-bodied and soft, with generous strawberry and spice flavours, hints of peach and apricot, and a fresh, smooth (4.5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. A highly satisfying wine, it's certified organic."

5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, September 2016 (2016 Vintage)
"Made from co-fermented pinot noir and syrah, this is an engaging style displaying complex aromas of lemon peel, rockmelon, ripe strawberry and subtle spice on the nose. The palate is concentrated and beautifully weighted, and delivers excellent vibrancy and fine texture, brilliantly structured by juicy acidity. Made to go with food rather than for casual sipping. At its best: now to 2018. Certified organic."

4 Stars & 17.5/20 Raymond Chan, September 2016 (2016 Vintage)
"Bright, light salmon-pink colour with some depth, paler on the rim. The nose is fresh with delicate and soft aromas of strawberries along with cranberries, pomegranate and watermelon, unveiling mouthwatering herb and mineral nuances. Dry to taste, the palate possesses a soft core of sweet and luscious strawberry and cranberry flavours along with red floral elements. The fruit sweetness is balanced by light, drying phenolic textures and refreshingly brisk acidity. The structure carries the wine to a thirst-quenching finish with fine grip and floral nuances. This is a gently rich, strawberry and cranberry fruited dry rosé with crisp, thirst-quenching, fine textures and grip. Serve with antipasto and tapas over the next 2 years. A co-fermentation of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Syrah, the Syrah foot-stomped for greater extraction, and all of the fruit given two hours skin contact and cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 14.0% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS. Certified BioGro organic."
