A lush Chateaneuf from an excellent, warm vintage. This is not a chateau but the private label of an expert and one of Chateauneuf's most respected consultant winemakers, Xavier Vignon. He has superb sources of fruit but none of the costs of his own vineyards, so that's why this impressive wine is so inexpensive. Sourced from all over Chateauneuf it is rounded and complete: rich, herbal, spicy, earthy and deep. Great value.

91-93+/100 Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2015 Vintage)
"The ruby/purple-tinged 2015 Châteauneuf du Pape (65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre and 15% Syrah, aged in one- to three-year-old barrels) offers lots of blueberry, blackberry, plum, peppery herbs and violets in a full-bodied, layered package. It is juicy, with plenty of tannin, and will have 10-15 years of longevity. Drink 2016 – 2031."
