The 2020 Beetlejuice is the latest release of this fantastic Central Otago Pinot Noir named after the critically endangered Cromwell Chafer Beetle which is found in only one place in the world, Cromwell, Central Otago. Looking great already, it's wonderfully aromatic with some classic Central Otago characters of super juicy, rich and ripe dark fruits layered with sweet herb and spice delivered in the smoothest way possible. Gorgeously lush and lusciously gorgeous!
Winery notes (2020 Vintage)
"Ripe hand picked fruit, gentle winemaking and maturation in French oak have resulted in an attractive wine. A soft and subtle palate of red fruits and fine grained tannins with aromas of blackberries, plums and spice. Showing good focus and length. Excellent value, drinking fantastically well now and will develop and cellar for several years."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, March 2023 (2020 Vintage)
"Sweetly ripe and fragrant, the wine shows ripe cherry, roasted nut, olive and mushroom aromas, followed by a smooth palate offering ripe fruit flavours with supple texture and beautifully infused tannins. Crowd-pleasing and delectably drinking. At its best: now to 2027."

5 Stars, Best Buy & Top 5 Cuisine Pinot Noir Tasting, April 2022 (2019 Vintage)
"Stunning aromas of black cherry, redcurrant and a hint of summer strawberry and raspberry among some spice on the nose. The secondary characteristics that are present work in harmony with the fruit and herbs on the palate. A well-structured wine with fantastic texture and good balance."
