Priced for everyday drinking, the 2019 Waipara Hills is a beaut follow up to last year's triple trophy winning effort. It's bright and juicy with a touch of up-front sweetness but a crisp and dry finish. Made from Waipara Pinot Noir it's deliciously refreshing, and perfectly priced to keep in the fridge at all times!

"Sourced from The Mound, Deans and Home Block vineyards in the Waipara Valley, with deep free draining Glasnevin gravels. Pinot Noir fruit parcels harvested in the cool of the morning, crushed and soaked on skins for 4 hours to develop. Drained juice was then settled and racked before fermentation. Once desired sweetness reached, the ferment was cooled and stopped. Wine was left on lees for several weeks, before being fined using traditional methods.
Subtle pink blush. Aromas of lifted light red berry fruit such as raspberry and a hint of stone fruit. Gentle red berry fruit flavours provide an inviting entry to a more complex, textured and mineral palate with a balanced crisp finish."

"Fresh, juicy and flesh red fruit aromas suggesting strawberry and roses, peach tea and red melon. Fleshy, juicy and fruity on the palate with a youthfully firm texture led by the ripe acidity and contrasted by the core of fruit. Crisp and dry on the finish. Well made and presented in a drink now style. Cellar properly and enjoy through to end of 2021."
