Winery notes (2022 Vintage)
"Aromas of exotic fruits, nectarine, floral, cardamom, macadamia. The palate has a stone fruit & citrus core with a nut praline complexity.
Fruit was hand-harvested and cooled overnight, then wholebunch pressed and transferred to French oak barriques for natural fermentation. Select parcels underwent malolactic fermentation to build texture and lower natural acidity. The majority spent nine months in oak with regular bâtonnage, while 20% of the blend spent its final three months maturing in concrete."

"Peach, fresh pineapple, pink grapefruit, fine spicy cedar oak, a little ginger. Bright, good line of acidity, pink grapefruit and Japanese ginger, light creaminess, and a long and spicy finish. Zesty. Looked quite juicy and a little oaky initially, but given time it settled down very nicely, so perhaps leave it alone for another year or two."

There's a core of stone fruit, grapefruit pith and nougat flavours along with nutty oak and punchy acidity. Lovley texture, length and mouth-feel."
