Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"The wine shows attractive brambly, blackberry-like ripe fruits along with spicy and exotic complexity. The palate is rich and textural with salivating soft tannins. Licorice, chocolate and sarsaparilla flavours linger on the finish. This wine will age extremely well for at least five years but equally can be drunk in its youth."
5 Stars & 18.5/20 (93/100) Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, January 2021 (2019 Vintage)
"Deep, ruby-black with little transparency, lighter ruby-red edged. The nose is gently full with mealy nuances of smoke meat, olives and cedar, underlying blackberries, bramble fruit notes and an amalgam of spice. Full-bodied, the nuances have a savour tone, kalamata olives melded with blackberries, bramble, black liquorice haul along with warm spices and cedar. The mouthfeel is full, filled with fine-grained tannin with a good grip, leaves the palate coated in fine dusty tannin. The fruit is with concentration and intensity, supported by lively acidity to a lingering closing. This is a robust, savoury nuanced tempranillo with good concentration on a refined dusty tannin palate. Match with South American meat grill and empanadas over the next 6+ years. Fermented to 14% alc, aged in barriques for 16 months."

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, December 2019 (2018 Vintage)
"Delightfully fruited and immediately appealing, the wine shows black/blueberry, dark plum, violet, almond and olive characters. It is equally gorgeous on the palate with excellent weight and richness, wonderfully complemented by supple mouthfeel and silky tannins. Mouthfilling and delicious. At its best: now to 2024."
