5 Stars & 95/100 Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review
The 10th vintage of Terra Sancta Estate Pinot Noir Rosé with Michael Cooper rating it as "Super Classic New Zealand Wine" and describes as 'From one vintage to the next, this is one of the country's leading rosés'.
Crafted entirely from top quality Central Otago Pinot Noir grapes from the Terra Sancta Felton Road vineyard. Terra Sancta take the production of Rosé very seriously and it shows; the proof is in the bottle. The pedigree is well and truly intact with the 2021 release, an absolute stunner once again.
Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"Terra Sancta Rosé at its finest, the nose is highly perfumed with raspberries, strawberries, peach, vanilla, florals and herbes de Provence. The quality of mature vine Pinot Noir from an outstanding vintage shines forth on the palate. Rich and packed full of flavour including wild bramble berries, elderberry, honeysuckle, apricot and fennel seed. Possessing a pillowy weight and hallmark texture from a high proportion of barrel fermentation (60%), this Rosé is both serious and seriously delicious.
The vintage dictated that 60% of the wine was wild fermented in neutral french oak barrels, helping build layers of complexity into a wine of texture, perfume and intensity. The defining characteristic of 2021 was simply the overall quality of the fruit which was outstanding. 2021 is a vintage from which great wine will flow, with this Rosé, evidence of this superb vintage."
5 Stars & Super Classic, Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"From one vintage to the next, this is one of the country's leading rosés. Estate-grown and hand-harvested, the delicious 2021 vintage was partly handled in tanks, but 60 per cent was fermented in old oak barrels. Pale pink, it is full-bodied, fresh and vibrantly fruity, with strong, vigorous, peachy flavours, a hint of apricot, and a dryish (5.8 grams/litre of residual sugar), savoury, seductively smooth finish."

5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, February 2021 (2020 Vintage)
"Delicate and restrained, the wine shows crunchy apple, nectarine, lemon zest and subtle raspberry notes on the nose, leading to a finely focused palate delivering lovely vibrancy and length. Crisp-dry and delightfully drinkable. At its best: now to 2022."
