Gold Medal – New Zealand International Wine Show Awards 2019
Summerhouse Pinot Gris has been a consistent Gold Medal winning wine over the last few vintages and has also picked up a trophy here and there. It looks like the 2019 is doing it again with a fresh Gold Medal at the New Zealand International Wine Show. It's wonderfully fragrant giving it instant appeal and its bright fruit, smooth and succulent texture makes for fantastic drinking.
Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"Our 2019 Pinot Gris has aromas of Turkish delight, fresh roses, honey suckle, and ripe stone fruit. Tropical fruit and nectarine flavours lead into rich textural complexities and a ginger bread spice. The wine finishes with a luscious and lingering acidity."

5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, August 2018 (2018 Vintage)
"Wonderfully fruited and succulent, this comforting pinot gris shows lifted aromas of white flesh stone fruit, fresh pear, floral and subtle spice on the nose, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that is smooth and refreshing. It is filled with attractive flavours and offers fabulous drinking. At its best: now to 2020."
