Winery notes (2015 Vintage)
"Dark oak concentrated derived from aging in French Oak. Showing peppery and toasty characters, this wine has supple tannins with a firm, smooth and spicy finish. A serious single vineyard wine."

5 Stars Michael Cooper (2014 Vintage)
"The 2014 vintage is an estate-grown, single-vineyard red, matured for 20 months in French oak casks (partly new). Dark and youthful in colour, it is fragrant and rich, with concentrated, ripe plum and spice flavours, seasoned with nutty oak, excellent complexity and a finely textured, long finish. A classy young red, it's already enjoyable, but should be at its best 2018+."
IWC 2017 (2014 Vintage)
"Elegant nose of bramble, ripe plum, spice and delicate floral notes. Wonderfully fresh and well-rounded palate leading to a smoky finish."
5 Stars & 19.0-/20 (95) Raymond Chan, September 2016 (2014 Vintage)
"Very full, even, black-hued purple-ruby colour with lighter purple on the edge. The nose is firm and tightly concentrated with aromas of ripe black berried fruits melded with dark herbs and nuances of savoury game, unfolding black pepper and violet florals. The richness of fruit and perfumes are enticing. Medium-full bodied, the palate is fulsome and rounded with a soft density, depth and concentration. The flavours are ripe and sweet, showing blackberries with florals and iron-earth minerals. This has significant extraction and structure, the soft acidity enhancing the roundness of the mouthfeel. The wine carries to a long and succulent finish with a firm line of tannin. This is a fulsome, rounded, densely packed Syrah with ripe black fruits, violet perfumes, a little game interest and a rounded palate with serious structure. 10+ years. 100% Syrah fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine aged 16 months in 30% new French oak."
5 Stars & 96/100 Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review (2013 Vintage)
"Dense, powerful Syrah with red-fleshed plum, raspberry, new leather, liquorice, black pepper and spicy oak flavours. An heroic red with a firm structure of ripe tannins that are smothered by fruit and alcohol sweetness to make the wine accessible, but give it good cellaring potential. Drink 2015 to 2024."
