4 Stars Michael Cooper (2013 Vintage)
"The 2013 vintage was hand-picked at sites in the Southern Valleys (Johnson Estate and Outpost), and barrel-aged for a year. Bright ruby, mouthfilling and supple, with fresh, strong cherry, plum and spice flavours and a gentle seasoning of oak, it's an elegant, youthful wine, showing good vigour and depth."

4 Stars & 17.5/20 Raymond Chan, June 2015 (2013 Vintage)
"Dark ruby-red colour with youthful purple hues, lighter on edge. This has a fresh, aromatic nose of ripe dark raspberry fruit melded with toasty oak, and lifted by fresh herbs and red floral perfumes. Raspberry liqueur, plums, liquorice and spice elements emerge with aeration. Medium-bodied, the fruit flavours are initially restrained, but open up in richness and juiciness. Dark raspberries, red cherries and savoury plum flavours unfold. The mouthfeel is supple, with underlying tannins and structure lending good body and palate presence. Nuances of herbs, liquorice and raspberry liqueur grow and are carried with good alcoholic power and drive to a soft, well-concentrated finish. This is a rounded Pinot Noir with sweet raspberry and plum flavours, and good mouthfeel and presence. Match with poultry, pork and lamb dishes over the next 4+ years. Hand-picked fruit from the ’Johnson Estate’ and ‘Outpost’ vineyards, hand-picked and indigenous yeast fermented to 13.5% alc., the wine aged 12 months in oak."

4 1/2 Stars Michael Cooper (2015 Vintage)
"Offering good value, the 2015 vintage was grown in the Southern Valleys and barrel-aged for nearly a year. Deep ruby, it is still youthful, with mouthfilling body, fresh, generous plum/spice flavours, showing good complexity, and the structure to mature well. Showing impressive density and vigour, it should be at its best 2019+."

91/100 IWC (2015 Vintage)
"Crunchy dark berry fruit and spice, with red and green berry characters and textured, grainy tannins."
