Sandro Fay sustainably farms 14 hectares in the Valtellina region of Lombardy. Their vineyards are placed throughout the terraced hillsides rising up to the Alps. The Nebbiolos of Sandro Fay are most notably differentiated by the effects of altitude and exposure for each of the parcels.

"Red cherry, liquorice, sweet spices, some mint and herb. It’s medium-bodied, but has flesh and intensity, some blood orange and spice, plenty of fine dusty tannin, and a long subtly sweet finish. Feels pretty young as at now, and likely to roll out finer with time in the cellar. Excellent."
