Sandro Fay sustainably farms 14 hectares in the Valtellina region of Lombardy. Their vineyards are placed throughout the terraced hillsides rising up to the Alps. The Nebbiolos of Sandro Fay are most notably differentiated by the effects of altitude and exposure for each of the parcels.

"Clarity and purity, all the spiced strawberry and raspberry, tickled with mint, roses, and smoky alpine herbs. It’s light to medium-bodied, fresh and clean, fine pumice stone tannin, and a finish of juicy strawberry and white pepper. Flat out charming."
