Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"Stonefruit and citrus flower aromatics, followed by a rich and textured fruit forward palate with nicely balanced acidity. An excellent aperitif or seafood wine that will easily cellar for 5-8 years if you think you have the willpower."
5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, December 2021 (2021 Vintage)
"This is a gorgeous expression of the variety, showing elegantly perfumed aromas of apricot, fig, warm spice and jasmine on the nose, leading to a wonderfully weighted palate that's succulent and supple. Textural, flavoursome and beautifully structured by bright acidity, finishing persistent and mouth-watering. At its best: 2026."
4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"An emerging star. The generous 2021 vintage was fermented and matured on its yeast lees for four months in stainless steel tanks, then bottled young. Bright, light yellow/green, it is attractively scented, mouthfilling and fleshy, with strong, ripe stonefruit and spice flavours, balanced acidity and a fresh, dry (3.2 grams/litre of residual sugar), harmonious finish. Enjoyable young, it's a drink-now or cellaring proposition."
18/20 (90) Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Reviews, November 2021 (2021 Vintage)
"Bright, yellow-green with some depth, even colour throughout. The nose is attractive and voluminous, filled the glass with aromas of white blossom, ripe stonefruit and a suggestion of quince. Medium-full bodied, dry to taste, aromas of ripe peach, quince and pear interweave peach blossom, expended by alcohol power to a spiced finish. Brisk, expressive fruit aromas carried by a mouth-filling, unctuous palate. Alcohol power elevated the mouthfeel and finish. This is a voluminous Albarino sings ripe fruit and blossom on an unctuous palate. Match with roasted pork and grilled octopus over the next 3+ years. Fruit from Bridge Pa Triangle, cool-fermented in stainless steel to 14.5% alc, 3.2g/l RS, rested on lees for 4 months."
