As indicated in it's name, Unique is truly one of a kind and doesn't give way to others! It's with passion and through their knowledge that they have created this vintage in total simplicity.

"Notes of heath and black cherries open up onto the nose. This is a concentrated and smooth wine with an intense palate filled with supple tannins. It spent 25 days fermenting in concrete vats."

Domaine Pierre Usseglio was founded in 1948 when Francis Usseglio had the opportunity to purchase 8 hectares. Francis had two sons, Pierre and Raymond. Pierre took over this domaine and his brother Raymond created his winery using his name which is how you have two different Usseglio wines in the Southern Rhone Valley today.

Today, Domaine Pierre Usseglio represents 24 hectares of vineyards spread out over 17 parcels in Chateauneuf du Pape, managed by Pierre’s sons –Jean-Pierre and Thierry. Domaine Pierre Usseglio produces 3 appellations – Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Cote du Rhone and Lirac – and most of the wines produced are reds.
