Winery notes (2015 Vintage)
"A style that combines purity and elegance with texture, concentration and length. A true reflection of the three Central Otago sub regions that contribute to our Pinot Noir. Attractive florals and spice notes with layers of red and dark fruits balanced with a lovely minerality and fine supple tannins."

5 Stars Michael Cooper (2015 Vintage)
"Outstanding in top seasons, this classic red is grown mostly in the Cromwell Basin, but also at Gibbston. The 2015 vintage is a blend of Bendigo, Pisa and Gibbston grapes. Full, bright ruby, with a fragrant, savoury bouquet, it is generous, complex and supple, with ripe, youthful cherry, plum, spice and dried herb flavours, concentrated and finely textured, and some earthy, 'funky' notes adding interest. Still youthful, it's already delicious."

Sue Courntey,, November 2017 (2015 Vintage)
"This has a rich ruby saturation to the deeply translucent hue. The colour is in sync with the succulence of the fruit-driven, spice-infused aroma and the fullness of the flavours that are crammed with juicy cherry and plum fruit, touches of rose hip, hints of vanilla and woody spices. A generous pinot with a velvety flow and a lasting finish that leaves an aura of mouthfilling satisfaction."

ANZWA 2017 (2015 Vintage)
"A soft-toned Pinot expressing precision and elegance, with dark cherry, red currant, almond and violet notes."

Top 10 & 5 Stars Cuisine Pinot Noir Tasting, April 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Winemaker Nadine Cross deftly blends fruit from a number of sites across the region to create the perennially exciting Peregrine pinot. The 2015 version offers a punchy, juicy core of fruit mingling with attractive toasty oak notes and a gentle texture. A very drinkable style that would be a fine match for slow-cooked Moroccan lamb."

Yvonne Lorkin, March 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Sometimes people describe pinot noir as being ‘feminine’ and I think the Peregrine could absolutely be that. Feminine insomuch as she’s tall, tanned, has long, sand-dusted hair, listens to Iron Butterfly and refuses to wear a bra-type of woman. A fabulously feral female is what this wine is. Exotic aromatics of spice, pot pourri, pomegranate and cherry ripe bars lead to a long, lusciously fruity palate with a thyme-laced edge. Roaring with personality, it’s a bad influence."
