Winery notes (2017 Vintage)
"Aged in American oak barrels for 18 to 20 months, Paulett Polish Hill River Shiraz displays a deep ruby red colour. Lush dark berry aromas fuse with white pepper undertones to offer a perfumed nose. The rich and soft palate is packed with rich varietal flavours, balanced by fine tannins. The finale is elegant and captivating. Made for consumption upon release, this beautiful Shiraz can be stored in the cellar for seven years to enhance its intense fruit flavours."
93/100 Mike Bennie (2017 Vintage)
"A rich and generous wine imbued with dark cherry, sweet spice, choc-cherry and faint vanilla characters. Nicely balanced and quietly powerful."

5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Sumptuous and instantly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, plum jelly, vanilla, toasty oak and mixed spice aromas on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that is plush and fleshy. It is powerful and structured at the same time, leading to a persistent silky finish. At its best: now 2025."
91+/100 Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, December 2017 (2015 Vintage)
"Volume of flavour is right up there. This fits into the ‘big shiraz, done well’ category. There’s a bourbon-and-coke aspect to the flavour profile but it’s rich with concentrated blackberry and throws sweet plums and spearmint into the fray. Toast, clove, woodsmoke and squeaks of resin-like character are here in abundance. No argument for delivery of sizeable flavour."
