Winery notes (2015 Vintage)
"Aged in American oak barrels for 18 to 20 months, Paulett Polish Hill River Shiraz displays aromas of dark fruits, plum, cherry, blackberry and spice supported by mocha and chocolate notes. A rich and concentrated palate supported by bright and vibrant dark fruit. Fine tannin structure and acidity provides an elegant structure, balance and length."
5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, October 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Sumptuous and instantly appealing, the wine shows blackberry, plum jelly, vanilla, toasty oak and mixed spice aromas on the nose, followed by a succulent palate that is plush and fleshy. It is powerful and structured at the same time, leading to a persistent silky finish. At its best: now 2025."
91+/100 Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front, December 2017 (2015 Vintage)
"Volume of flavour is right up there. This fits into the ‘big shiraz, done well’ category. There’s a bourbon-and-coke aspect to the flavour profile but it’s rich with concentrated blackberry and throws sweet plums and spearmint into the fray. Toast, clove, woodsmoke and squeaks of resin-like character are here in abundance. No argument for delivery of sizeable flavour."
