"This wine displays a bright pale yellow in the glass, with greenish reflections. Intense aromas with floral and fruity hints, such as green apple and citrus fruits. Balanced acidity, with a pleasant and persistent finish. It combines very well with all kinds of sea products, both fish and shellfish. Ideal with salads, light meals and rice dishes.
Located in the vineyards in Elciego (Rioja Alavesa), the grapes were grown in a climate of continental Mediterranean, with a strong Atlantic influence. Clay-limestone soils, organically poor.
Harvested by hand, during the second half of September followed by a gentle pressing and 3-hour skin maceration to achieve a high aroma intensity. A small part of the wine ferments in French oak barrels. The rest in stainless steel vats under temperature control in order to enhance its aromas and freshness. Part of it is kept in French oak barrels prior to its bottling."

You may also choose to 'pick up' your order from our wine shop at 188 Durham Street South, Christchurch.

Note, for orders of 1 - 2 bottles we charge an additional $5 for packaging. To ensure the safety of the bottles we use specially designed posting boxes.
