Mt Difficulty's reputation doesn't just rest on its stunning Pinot Noir, they excel in all things white too. Their newly released 2020 Pinot Gris continues the style they have become known for, upping the ante on flavour concentration and textural richness yet maintaining a lively line with fresh acidity and a long mineral finish.
Winery Notes (2020 Vintage)
"Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Pinot Gris 2020 a vintage of variability led to a yellow fleshed peach aromas with a touch of pear and a backdrop of white jasmine blossom. The palate displays these same characters in abundance focusing more on succulent white peach notes, while the mid palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a pithy, stonefruit focused finish."

4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper (2018 Vintage)
"Grown and hand-picked at Bannockburn, in Central Otago, the 2018 vintage is a fleshy, dry wine (4 grams/litre of residual sugar). Bright, light lemon/green, it is weighty and vibrantly fruity, with concentrated, ripe stone-fruit flavours, hints of ginger and spice, a touch of complexity and a finely textured finish. Drink now or cellar."
