Winery notes (2020 Vintage)
"A delicious off dry style from a cooler vintage for Central Otago. Whole bunch pressed, fermentation in a mixture stainless steel barrels and tanks, wild yeasts, no temperature control and aged on gross less for 3 months. RS 10g/l
Floral and citrus aromas, flavours of kaffir limes and grapefruit, some initial sweetness underpinned by herbal mineral characters and ending dry with refreshing acidity."
95/100 Mike Bennie, The Wine Front, November 2022 (2020 Vintage)
"This is no slouch. It has texture and weight but insane acidity and purity under the sluice of almond nuttiness and light herbal etch. Stacks of bright green apple, soft but fresh, lots of pink grapefruit juice and exceptional length that finishes pretty but with sorbet-like dryness and vitality. Fruitiness tempered well. It’s a class act. So delicious to drink, thirst-slaking and stacked with personality. Benchmark stuff."
Lisa Perotti Brown, The Wine Advocate
"Duncan Forsyth (Mount Edward winemaker) is one very inspired and skilled Riesling producer – a fanatic in fact (which is what it takes to makes truly great Riesling in NZ or anywhere for that matter)."

5 Stars Michael Cooper (2018 Vintage)
"Certified organic, the classy 2018 vintage was fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel barrels and tanks, and matured for three months on its yeast lees. Bright, light yellow/green, it is a highly scented, fleshy, full-bodied wine, with rich, ripe, peachy, slightly limey flavours, woven with fresh acidity, and a dryish (8 grams/litre residual sugar), very harmonious finish. Drink now or cellar."
93/100 Nick Stock, JamesSuckling.com (2018 Vintage)
"Very attractive, fresh apples and limes with rich, sleek and gently sweet, nicely balanced, smooth resolve. Long and concentrated. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold."
