5 Stars & 94/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, December 2016 (2016 Vintage)
“Rich, opulent and delectable, this generously expressed pinot gris shows yellow stone fruit, mango, honey and spice aromas on the nose. It is concentrated on the palate and exhibits velvety texture and excellent mid palate weight with a hint of sweetness and well-pitched acidity. An engaging, complex style offering excellent food matching options. At its best: now to 2020.”

4 1/2 Stars Michael Cooper (2015 Vintage)
“The 2016 vintage is an Alsace-style Pinot Gris, already delicious. Full-bodied, rich, ripe and rounded, it has concentrated stone-fruit and spice flavours, a sliver of sweetness, vague hints of honey, and excellent depth and harmony.”

4 Stars & 18.0/20 Raymond Chan, December 2016 (2016 Vintage)
“Bright, light golden yellow colour with some depth, pale on the edge. This has a tightly concentrated and firm nose with good presence and depth, but slightly restrained aromas of yellow stonefruits. The nose unfolds stonefruit kernels and complexing nuances of nuts and smoke, minerals, revealing honeysuckle and floral elements. The nose builds in intensity with aeration. Medium-dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate is full and rounded with a stylishly restrained core of ripe yellow stonefruits, nuts and minerals, along with honeysuckle and florals. The palate has good weight and the flavours build to lend some unctuousness. Integrated acidity adds to the softness and the wine flows smoothly along a very fine phenolic thread, leading to a soft-flavoured, lingering finish. This is a rich and weighty off-dry Pinot Gris with subtly exotic and nuanced flavours on a rounded, smooth-flowing palate. Match with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare over the next 3-4 years. Late-picked fruit from the ‘Limeloader’ vineyard, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 14.0% alc. and 9 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 months in seasoned oak.”
