Gold Medal – New Zealand International Wine Show 2021
From the foothills of Mount Brown in the Waipara Valley comes this delicious Rosé made from Tempranillo, Syrah and Pinot Noir grapes. A vividly scented nose leads you to beautifully balanced palate of delicate mixed berries with subtle citrus giving depth and zip.
Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"This delightful Rosé has strawberries and cream aromas, a touch of sweetness followed by a long crisp finish. Full of life and flavour. Made with the saignee process from Tempranillo, Syrah and Pinot it underwent a cool ferment after 24 hours on skins, resulting in a fruit forward wine with beautiful colour. We love it with summer salads, light pasta dishes or seafood. But often a Rosé is just perfect on its own on a warm summers evening."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, November 2021 (2021 Vintage)
"This is instantly appealing on the nose showing watermelon, ripe peach, apple and floral aromas. The palate is equally attractive with youthful fruit intensity together with fine texture and juicy acidity, making it lingering and super tasty. At its best: now to 2023."
4 Stars & Best Buy Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"Priced sharply, this very fresh and lively rosé is an unusual blend of Tempranillo, Syrah and Pinot Noir. Bright, light pink, it is invitingly scented and finely balanced, with gentle strawberry and watermelon flavours, delicious young."

"Like a pink sapphire in hue, its bouquet captivates with abundant aromas of summer berries. The deliciously juicy and refreshing taste is just off dry with lashings of strawberries, raspberries and tropical fruit balanced by sweet mandarin-like acidity with hints of red apple and musk."
