Winery notes (2020 Vintage)
"It is a dark plum colour with dark berry and ripe cherry aromas. The palate is round and generous with medium tannins and well-balanced acidity. Some black pepper spices add to the complexity of the wine."
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, February 2021 (2020 Vintage)
"Pristine and beautifully perfumed, the wine shows dark cherry, raspberry, violet and toasted nut characters on the nose, followed by a wonderfully supple palate delivering succulent fruit intensity together with silky texture, finishing long and gorgeously appealing. At its best: now to 2026."

95/100 New World Wine Awards 2020 (2019 Vintage)
"From a small winery in North Canterbury operated by a father and daughter team, this is a wine that pairs perfectly with the local lamb. Try a slow roasted shoulder of lamb served with a fresh green salad. Sweet ripe fruit, spicy tannins and a nice savoury mushroom character with great concentration of flavour yet still delicate. Engaging length of flavour with a rich textural finish."
