"The hue of the medium dark purple 2021 vintage McManis Family Vineyards Zinfandel, displays all the attractive qualities of a young wine. Pleasant ripe red currants and fresh Strawberry immediately come to mind, while after some contemplation caramelized sugar and toast become incontrovertible. The savoury bright red fruits are enveloped in the succulent, juicy wine which possesses soft, supple tannins."

"A classic bouquet of ripe red berry fruits and trat cherries, a mix of baking spices and soft fresh meats highlights. Youthful with a decent intensity and attractive fruit-led qualities. On the palate a dry wine with spice and impact from tannins and acidity alongside a core of red fruit flavours and five spice qualities the mirror the bouquet. Very easy to roll around the palate and swallow with best drinking from 2023 through 2027."
