A bright and fresh Chardonnay from the warm Macon in southern Burgundy. Sourced from some of the best sites in the Macon-Villages zone, this is an invitingly crisp wine with a light and bright, poised palate. The limestone soils that dominate the region produce defined citrus fruit as well as a gentle, stony freshness. Unoaked, this is a Burgundy Chardonnay for everyone and delicious quality for the price.
William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2020 Vintage)
"Offering up aromas of buttered orchard fruit, peach and white flowers, the 2020 Mâcon-Villages (Maison Louis Jadot) is medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with a pretty core of fruit, lively acids and a clean finish. It has turned out nicely. Drink 2021 – 2025."

Neal Martin, Vinous (2017 Vintage)
"The 2017 Mâcon Blanc Villages has a simple bouquet of grass clippings and light granite aromas. The palate is well balanced, quite fat for a Mâcon Villages, with an easygoing, lightly honeyed finish. Drink 2018 – 2020."
