A select blend of Burgundy whites, this super-value Chardonnay offers fruitiness with class. Bright stonefruit and citrus are touched with minerals and florals on a plump, harmonious and refreshing palate. The fruit is from the best of certain villages, with Maconnais sources bringing fleshy fruit while the Cote d'Or and Challonaise bring structure and complexity. Beautiful with or without finger food or white meats, this proper Burgundy is a perfect Blanc for any occasion.

Neal Martin, Vinous (2017 Vintage)
"The 2017 Bourgogne Couvent des Jacobins, which contains a large majority of fruit from the Côte d’Or, has a pleasant, tropical-tinged bouquet featuring notes of passion fruit and guava. The palate is well balanced with good weight, a fine bead of acidity, an easygoing personality and a touch of sour lemon perking up the finish. Enjoy over the next two or three years. Drink 2018 – 2021."
William Kelly, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2017 Vintage)
"The 2017 Bourgogne Blanc Couvent des Jacobins (Maison Louis Jadot) offers up an attractive bouquet of ripe citrus, green apple and pear, deftly framed by oak vanillin, followed by a medium-bodied, succulent and elegantly textural palate. It's a serious Bourgogne that exemplifies the effort Jadot devotes to their lesser appellations. Drink 2018 – 2024."
