In a small part of the vineyard, grapes are left to hang a little longer. Once the primary fermentation ends the dried grapes are added, inducing a 2nd fermentation. Rich and complex.
Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"To the eye it is a beautiful ruby red, intense and luminous. The nose opens to fruity notes of cherry, black cherry and ripe plum, with floral hints of violet to complete the picture. The sip is smooth and well-organised in the tannic texture, fresh and of good length."

"Such a lovely wine for this price and that even with a relatively low ABV of 13%. It is nice balanced in the mouth with some smooth tannins. Very juicy wine with notes of ripe red cherry, soft tobacco, some oak and a little bit of vanilla. Also, the dark fruits are presents with blackberry and plum, little bit leather in the mouth. Good wine to enjoy your day or evening and for this price you can’t pass up this wine. My advice: Get one (or more!)"

"Even though it’s basically a Chianti at 80% sangiovese, because the Bosco team blended in 10% merlot, 5% cabernet sauvignon and 5% colorino grapes means the wine has to slap on the IGT tag instead. But they ain’t ‘bovvered,’ and I couldn’t be happier. It’s an elegant, generous wine with lashings of violets, spice, and dried herbs and a layer of dark cocoa on the deliciously dusty finish."
