Winery notes (2018 Vintage)
"A white wine which will seduce thanks to the blend of grape varieties and its qualities which are as numerous as its famous red cousin’s! Connoisseurs will recognise the dominant presence of Viognier.
Yellow gold, clear and brilliant to the eye. Fresh on the nose and marked by the distinctive aromas of Viognier, white flowers, apricot, acacia and white peach. It's fruity with plenty of richness and body giving off an overall well-rounded wine with elegance, strength and balance."
91/100 Vinous (2018 Vintage)
"Light yellow. Mineral-tinged aromas of Meyer lemon, pear and white peach are complemented by a suave floral overtone. Juicy, pure and energetic on the palate, offering pliant orchard and pit fruit and honeysuckle flavours that show sharp definition and back-end lift. Rich but energetic as well, delivering strong finishing cut and lingering florality. The Viognier is definitely making itself heard here."
90/100 NatalieMacLean.com, April 2020 (2018 Vintage)
"A medium-bodied Côtes du Rhône white wine blend from Château d'Ampus of Viognier, Roussanne, Marsanne and Bourboulenc from a terrific vintage. Fragrant on the nose with summer florals, ginger spice and soft orange flavours fresh and creamy on the palate."

90/100 Jeb Dunnuck (2017 Vintage)
"The 2017 Côtes du Rhône Blanc has lots of Grenache Blanc as well as other permitted varieties. Notes of white flowers, citrus, and honeysuckle all emerge from this medium-bodied, vibrant white that has good acidity and a clean finish. As usual, it over-delivers."
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (2017 Vintage)
"The 2017 Cotes du Rhone Blanc includes a majority of Viognier (as usual), supported by 15% to 20% Roussanne and bit of other Rhône varieties. It's a bold mouthful of apricot, pineapple and citrus, with a slightly floral nose. Medium to full-bodied, it's plump and round in the mouth, followed by a fresh, slightly briny finish. Drink it over the next couple of years.”
Wine Spectator (2017 Vintage)
"Apricot, nectarine and green plum notes hold sway here, with flashes of fennel and star fruit on the finish. Ripe and rounded, but stays fresh in feel."
