Astrolable's 'second' rosé label offers plenty of style without the price tag.
Winery notes (2021 Vintage)
"A bone-dry, crisp style using equal parts of pinot noir and pinot gris from across the Marlborough region. A pretty, aromatic nose with notes of pomegranate molasses, red delicious toffee apple, strawberry conserve and crab apple jelly. A round mouthfeel, with a smooth and ethereal texture. This wine is bone dry with delicately balanced acidity."
93/100 Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review, September 2021 (2021 Vintage)
"An equal blend of pinot noir and pinot gris. Dry, fruity rosé with tree fruit, peach, pear and apple flavours that are supported by gentle acidity. A crisp and refreshing rosé with appealing purity."
Michael Cooper (2021 Vintage)
"Offering very easy drinking, the 2021 vintage is a blend of Pinot Gris (52 per cent), Pinot Noir (40 per cent), and Riesling (8 per cent). Bright, pale pink, it is fresh and smooth, with strawberryish flavours, peachy and spicy notes, gentle acidity and a fully dry, but harmonious finish. (From Astrolabe)."
