In 1692 the Alary family settled in Cairanne and began making wine. The current owner Denis Alary is proud of its long history and tradition of his family domain. Since 2009 Denis has converted completely to organics: he is convinced that this will result in healthy and optimally ripe grapes.
Thanks to this natural order of things in the vineyard vinification takes more spontaneous and less intervention from outside. Moreover, a mild and relatively short extraction period makes for a soft and round palate structure. The plot La Gerbaude – clay and limestone soils, covered with large boulders – is planted with grenache, syrah and carignan.

"The nose is expressive, complex with dominant notes of red fruit (blackcurrant, strawberry) that grows to the mouth. The palate is smooth, round with a real sense of sweetness. Supported by fine tannins and a velvety mouth with a lot of persistence and volume."
We provide a door to door delivery service nationwide. Delivery charges are calculated on a 12 bottle case or part there of.
