90-92/100 Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, December 2016 (2015 Vintage)
"The 2015 Côte de Nuits-Villages has a fragrant bouquet cut along similar lines to the Bourgogne Rouge, albeit with more delineation and more freshness, a subtle floral note blossoming in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannin. This feels supple, gentle in the mouth, gently unfolding with vivid dark cherry and blackberry fruit on the finish. I doubt you will find a better Côte de Nuits-Villages than this and if you do, please let me know. Drink: 2018-2025."

88-91/100 Allen Meadows, Burghound, January 20117 (2015 Vintage)
"A discreet touch of wood sets off earthier and more deeply pitched aromas of softly spiced dark currant scents. There is good intensity to the sleek and once again relatively refined flavours that are supported by fine-grained tannins on the seductively textured, balanced and solidly persistent finale. Lovely. Drink: 2020+."

89/100 Vinous  (2015 Vintage)
"Medium red. Ripe aromas of kirsch and blackberry, plus a touch of sweet oak. Sweet and juicy on the palate, conveying an impression of energy to the flavours of dark berries, chocolate and leather. Some hydric stress here held down grape sugars, noted Bachelet."

90/100 John Gilman, View From the Cellar, December 2016 (2015 Vintage)
"The 2015 Côte de Nuits Villages from Domaine Denis Bachelet is another very strong example of the vintage, with the nose jumping from the glass in a superb blend of black cherries, black plums, raw cocoa, dark soil tones, grilled meats and a nice framing of nutty new wood. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and very suave on the attack, with a sappy core, tangy acids, silky tannins and lovely focus and grip on the finish. Structurally, this wine will be accessible early on, but I would let it develop in bottle for at least four or five years before really starting to drink it, as it will blossom beautifully. Drink 2021-2045."
