Winery notes (NV)
"This wine’s colour is straw with green/gold undertones. The initial aromas should intrigue the taster as they already show a complexity rarely present in a non-vintage Brut. The biscuity gives away some lovely spicy, herbaceous tones of thyme, blonde tobacco and dried flowers. The palate is intense showing the same biscuity, faintly honeyed notes. Gingerbread, almonds and hazeltnuts blend with peach and ripe apricot. This cuvée is best described as having the soul of a vintage wine in the body of a non-vintage."

"40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier, one-fifth reserve wines. 8 g/litre dosage. This is unusual for a wine at this price in that it has been aged for six years on its lees. It’s fine and toasty with nice freshness. Citrussy and taut with some bready notes, and faint hints of cheese and fine herbs, as well as a hint of apricot and some almond nuttiness. Lovely intensity here: it’s rich but not too rich."
95/100 Bob Campbell MW, November 2015 (NV)
"Rich, smooth-textured Champagne, with plenty of nutty yeast autolysis. Appealing mouth-feel with plenty of weight and an ethereal texture. Very classy wine at a competitive price. It shows good bottle development, although the flavours are reasonably fresh. Perfect drinking now."
