Distillery notes
"Recipe #23 is a botanical forward, contemporary style gin pairing a slightly sweeter malt base spirit with well rounded citrus, floral and oriental spice botanicals.
Serving suggestions: For a refreshing classic G&T serve with an Indian tonic and fresh pink grapefruit or an orange twist. Signature cocktail is a modified French 75 with rosé bubbles, orange bitters and an orange twist to garnish. Perfect for a summer special occasion.
Botanicals: Juniper Berries, East Coast Manuka berries and leaf, Coriander Seeds, Cardamom Pods, Fresh Gisborne Orange Zest, Fresh Lime Zest, Ginger Root, Angelica Root, Otago Lavender, Cinnamon and Star Anise."

"The single malt base spirit (made from Canterbury grain) used for this gin means the initial aroma immediately calls to mind whisky, rather than gin. But as it opens up, the tell-tale piney juniper quality emerges. It uses 11 botanicals, including manuka from the East Coast, Gisborne citrus and Otago lavender to create a clean, rounded gin with complex spicy undertones of star anise, cinnamon and cardamom."
