5 Stars & 95/100 Bob Campbell MW, The Real Review, June 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Silken-textured, medium-bodied pinot noir with sweet cherry, fresh herb and delicately spicy flavours. A supple, elegant wine with surprising underlying power that is evidenced by a lengthy finish. Consistent and impressive."

5 Stars & 19.0-/20 Raymond Chan, April 2018 (2015 Vintage)
"Dark, deep, ruby-red colour with slight garnet hues, a little lighter on the edge. The bouquet is full, rich and densely packed with complex secondary aromas with layers of aromatic and savoury dark-red berry fruits, entwined with notes of dried herbs, a little undergrowth and suggestions of game, unfolding dark herbs. This has plenty of energy and life within. Medium-full bodied, the palate is softly full with harmonious layers of savoury dark-red berry fruits along with dried herbs and game, with undergrowth elements. The mouthfeel is plush, with excellent acidity adding to the lusciousness. The fruit forms a tight core with piquant intensity, and the palate is supported by very fine-grained, supple tannin extraction. The complex flavours carry to a very long, lingering finish. This is a rich, plush, seamless and savoury, complex Pinot Noir that will match mushroom dishes and game meat over the next 6+ years. Fruit from the Southern Valleys, indigenous yeast fermented with 13% whole bunches to 13.5% alc., the wine spending 18 days on skins and aged 12 months in 35% new French oak barrels."

4 ½ Stars Michael Cooper (2015 Vintage)
"Consistently classy. Grown at sites on the cooler, more clay-influenced south side of the Wairau Valley, the 2015 vintage was matured for a year in French oak barriques (35 per cent new). A fragrant, deep ruby red, it is mouthfilling, fresh and youthful, with concentrated, ripe, plummy, spicy, nutty flavours, showing good complexity, fine-grained tannins, and the structure to mature well. Best drinking 2019+."

90/100 Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate (2015 Vintage)
"Pale to medium ruby-purple coloured, the 2015 Pinot Noir has pretty violet, red cherry and warm raspberry scents with a hint of cinnamon and dusty earth. Soft, elegant and medium-bodied, it gives lovely purity and a more understated expression."
