Winery notes (2018 Vintage)
"It has power and energy, it is meticulous and it is elegant. The wine is delicate but has a length and complexity that continues for some time. This Superstition Reserve Riesling is a serious drop that’s made with weight and layering. It will cellar for years (if you can wait that long!) 100% free run juice, hand-picked grapes from old vines. No added acid or finings. Gently pressed and fermented slowly in controlled conditions to maintain the fruit purity, enabled us to make a truly exceptional expression of Clare Valley Riesling from this very special site.
This reserve Riesling is refined, poised and balanced. It has a focused fleshy citrus line, intricately underlaid with fresh talc and subtle blossom. Finger limes, apple blossom, lifted minerals and bath salts seductively lure you into this pristine Riesling. Careful, it’s a captivating one!"
5 Stars & 96/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, December 2018 (2018 Vintage)
"A magnificent offering; the inviting bouquet shows white flesh stone fruit, lime sorbet, Gala apple and white floral aromas. The palate is focused and finely textured, delivering outstanding fruit concentration and intensity, wonderfully structured by bright acidity. The wine offers lovely flow and refinement, finishing impressively long and engaging. Impeccable. At its best: 2020 to 2030."

94/100 Gary Walsh, The Wine Front, February 2018 (2017 Vintage)
"Precise, limey, with a touch of florals, but really is about all that lime-driven Clare Valley goodness, with crunch and slight grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish, and perhaps a dusting of chalk powder. Restrained power. It’s a very good Riesling."
