Awarded American Winery of the Year – Wine Enthusiast Magazine 2019
Winery notes (2019 Vintage)
"With decadent aromatics, a velvety texture and complex finish, this is hand-crafted Chardonnay at its very best. Harvested at night, winemakers retained the ripe apple and juicy pear fruits and allowed them to come alive.
Barrel fermented and aged in 100% new American oak for 16 months, the wine was stirred by hand twice a month to create a silky mouthfeel. Spicy persimmon flirts on the palate, while the seductive finish hints of toasted marshmallows and a caramelized sugar meringue."

91/100 Wine Enthusiast, January 2020 (2018 Vintage)
"This wine goes all in for the toasted, buttery and bold style. Fermented in new American oak barrels, it offers enormous aromas of toasted oak and melted butter that meet ripe pear and peach flavours accented by almond and vanilla."
4 Stars Michael Cooper (2017 Vintage)
"Described on the label as "decadent", this California chardonnay is an extroverted style, with the fragrant coconut-like aromas of new American oak barrels. Powerful (14% alc/vol), it has rich, peachy, toasty flavours that show considerable complexity, and a fresh, creamy-smooth finish."
Sue Courtney, wineoftheweek.com, May 2018 (2016 Vintage)
"There’s a suggestion of crushed brazil nut and hazelnut on the opulent, rich, toasty bouquet and the creamy taste is seamless with an ornate frame of spicy oak encapsulating juicy stonefruit and a flamboyant caramel-coated finish that lingers for ages. A meal in a glass."
