Hand-harvested 100% Garnacha Tintorera from 45-60 year old dry-farmed, pre-phylloxera bush vines with yields of 1.2-1.5 kg per vine from nutrient poor, limestone-rich soils. Aged 6-8 months in American fine grain oak barrels. Rich and full-bodied, deep purple colour, with a fantastic range of dark fruit and herbs and smooth tannins. Incredible value for money.
5 Stars & 93/100 Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, September 2019 (2016 Vintage)
"A splendid expression of the variety; the inviting bouquet shows Black Doris plum, mixed berry compote, toasted nut and warm spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that offers excellent weight and depth. It is supple and silky with a delightfully long velvety finish. At its best: now to 2022."

"The product of organically-grown 45 to 60-year-old bush vines grown on nutrient-poor, limestone-rich soils. A medium-bodied red with an extraordinary lengthy finish. An elegant and appealing wine with dark berry, spice and fresh herb flavours. An accessible wine."
