One of our Spanish regulars at Vino Fino, Anciano Tempranillo Crianza has been offering up a great drinking and simply incredible value red for a number of years now. Beautifully made from 30+ year old vines grown on stony clay-lime soils in the hot, dry continental climate of southern Spain, Anciano Crianza is an archetypal Spanish red, savoury and earthy, with textured tannins and a dense and concentrated finish.

"Fabulously fruited and brightly expressed, the bouquet shows Black Doris plum, sweet raspberry, mixed spice and almond characters, leading to a flavoursome palate that is succulent and supple. It is up front and delectable with plenty of tasty flavours, finishing firm and pleasingly dry. At its best: now to 2021."

"A modern rendition, showing elegantly fragrant aromas of Black Doris plum, red cherry, mixed spice and floral, followed by a juicy palate that’s finely textured and flowing. Smooth and immediately appealing."
