70% Grenache & 30% Shiraz
Winery notes (2016 Vintage)
"Aromas of dark cherry and plum with a touch of spice. The palate shows dark rich fruits with finely integrated French oak. Sweet ripe fruit on the finish with peppery spice. Velvety tannins with great persistence."
4 ½ Stars & Best Buy, Winestate Magazine (2016 Vintage)
"A nose of ripe fruit and chocolate, with tobacco-like notes. The palate is soft and 'giving' and full of sweet plum fruit flavours laced with tannin and strong oak."
Nick Butler, The Real Review, May 2019 (2016 Vintage)
"Lifted, ripe raspberries with licorice and cloves. A primary, juicy blend with a sweetly-fruited mix of red and purple berries. It's crunchy, with grainy tannins on the finish. Great value."

"A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Shiraz aged in French oak hogsheads for 15 months. Opaque dark red black core with a dark red hue. Ripe dark raspberry and dark cherry aromas intermingle with some liquorice over vanillin cedar and spicy scorched earth notes. The full bodied palates rich black raspberry and liquorice flavours somewhat smothered by charry vanillin cedar. Traces of earth are also apparent on the spicy finish. Slightly grippy tannins give the wine some structure. Aftertaste of spicy black raspberries, liquorice and toasty vanillin cedar."
