"Introducing NOW by PAXTON which stands for NATURAL ORGANIC WINE. The consumer market demand has been growing steadily for Preservative Free/Natural wines. As leaders in organic production, it was obvious that Paxton needed a product for this category. In addition to Natural, PF & Organic, we wanted to make a young, drink NOW style shiraz that was different from our existing Shiraz styles. 

Explosion of primary fruit characters, with raspberries, cherries, plum and a touch of chocolate. Very generous fruit flavours of plums and mulberries, spicy characters and great mouth feel and density."

"This is an intensely coloured and richly fruited shiraz made using organic grapes with no preservatives. It is gorgeously fragrant on the nose showing blackberry, plum jelly, dark chocolate, hazelnut and floral aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that is dense and delectable. "Very dark, deep, saturated black-hued purple-red colour, very youthful in appearance. The nose is softly full and gently voluminous with aromas of very ripe blackberry, boysenberry and dark raspberry fruit entwined with black plum and liquorice notes, some sweet black pepper, unfolding some eucalyptus elements. Medium-full bodied, the palate has plush and intense flavours of blackberries and boysenberries, blueberries and black plums. The fruit is nuanced by subtle dark herb, liquorice and spice elements intermixed with eucalyptus and black plum jam hints. The fruit is bright, lively and aromatic with supple tannin extraction and structure in support and lacy acidity enhancing the vibrancy. The sweet fruit has drive and linearity, carrying to a long, lingering finish. This is a very sweet and plush, brightly fruited Shiraz with blackberry, boysenberry and plum fruit with supple tannins and a fresh mouthfeel. Serve with barbecued and roasted red meats over the next 4+ years. ‘NOW’ stands for Natural Organic Wine. McLaren Vale fruit fermented to 14.0% alc. Certified NASAA biodynamic."
