"This classic Burgundian variety has been produced in the sunny climate of Languedoc in the south of France. Although much warmer than the cool climate of the Côte d'Or great care has been taken to ensure that it is every bit as elegant. A bright yellow gold hue and seductive scents of blossom and cinnamon spice. A remarkable melange of pears, peach, honey toffee, cream and vanilla (from a short spell of oak ageing) on the palate. Beautifully balanced with ripeness, acidity, length and real structure. A very classy Chardonnay."

"Bright straw-yellow colour with light golden hues, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is softly full and gently concentrated with aromas of white and yellow stonefruits, some nutty lees elements and chalky minerals. The aromatics are up-front with good volume and depth. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses moderately sweet and rich flavours of yellow stonefruits and citrus fruit entwined with ripe herb and nutty lees elements. The mouthfeel is fresh and bright and the wine flows with good energy along a fine-textured, light line, leading to a refreshing, lingering stonefruited finish. This is a fresh, moderately sweet and rich fruited Chardonnay with stonefruit and nutty lees elements on a soft-textured palate. Serve with most white meat dishes over the next 3 years. Chardonnay fruit from the Puisserguier vineyards in Saint Chinian, Languedoc, fermented to 12.5% alc., a portion of the wine aged on lees and 20% aged 3 months in French oak."
