"Pale yellow in colour, this delicious wine has a delicately perfumed nose, showing green apple, white fleshed nectarine and floral notes with a hint of spice. This soft elegant wine is beautifully balanced on the palate, where the stonefruit aromas carry through with flavours of white fleshed nectarine and a hint of white pepper on the finish."

"​Beautifully composed and expressed, the inviting bouquet shows green rockmelon, nectarine, lemon peel and subtle spice aromas on the nose, followed by a juicy palate that is rounded and silky. The wine offers excellent fruit purity and vibrancy, wonderfully framed by elegantly pitched acidity, leading to a persistent finish. Delightfully fragrant and mouthfilling. A portion of the juice (30%) was fermented in French oak barrels using indigenous yeasts. At its best: now to 2020."

"​The stylish 2016 vintage was mostly grown in the Griffith vineyard and cool-fermented in tanks, but 32 per cent of the blend, grown in the Anderson vineyard, was fermented with indigenous yeasts in seasoned French oak casks and went through a secondary, softening malolactic fermentation. Light lemon/green, it is fragrant, mouthfilling and vibrantly fruity, with good intensity of peachy, citrusy, spicy flavours, a touch of complexity, balanced acidity and a dry (1.2 grams/litre residual sugar), slightly minerally finish. A very harmonious wine with layers of flavour, it's well worth cellaring."

"​Bright straw-yellow colour with green-gold hues, lighter on the rim. The nose is tightly bound and firm with a good intense core of fresh white stonefruits along with subtle notes of herbs and white pepper, unveiling some nutty detail. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate has a firm heart with vibrant fruit flavours of white stonefruits melded with nutty lees elements and hints of nutty barrel-ferment notes, unfolding white pepper and subtle herb and mineral nuances. The palate possesses fruit richness, and is balanced by crisp, lacy acidity and a fine phenolic textures. The wine has very good linearity and carries to a lingering, detailed finish of stonefruits, nuts and herbs. This is a fine and firmly concentrated Gruner Veltliner with vibrant stonefruit flavours with subtle nutty notes on a refined, textural palate with refreshing acidity. Serve with a variety of white meat dishes over the next 3-4 years. Fruit from two sites, 68% from the ‘Griffith’ vineyard, cool-fermented in tank, and 32% from the ‘Anderson’ vineyard, indigenous yeast fermented in seasoned oak, to13.09% alc. and 1.2 g/L RS, the barrel-fermented portion undergoing MLF.
