HENRI BOURGEOIS La CÔTE des MONTS DAMNÉS SANCERRE 2016 is available to buy in increments of 1
La Côte des Monts Damnés is a very steep south and south-west facing slope in Chavignol composed of Kimmeridgian marl (a soil made up of fossilized seashells and clay). Since the 11th century, noblemen would outbid one another just to possess a small parcel. The delicate tropical fruit aromas and clean mineral and fruity palate testify to La Côte des Monts Damnés pedigree as an exceptional wine from one of the finest slopes in the Sancerre appellation. With three to five years of bottle-aging, the wine gains roundness, richness and complexity.
