"It is ripe and nicely lifted on the nose showing baked apple, yellow peach and toasted nut characters. The palate is generously expressed with ripe fruit flavours and creamy texture, well balanced by juicy acidity, finishing smooth and rounded. At its best: now to end of 2017."

"Bright straw-yellow colour with slight lemon-gold hues. This has a soft and restrained nose with aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruits with a subtle core of integrated spice and nutty oak notes. The aromas grow in breadth with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has light flavours of ripe citrus fruits, yellow stonefruits and tropical fruit elements along with subtle nutty oak. The Palate has good body and presence with soft textures and integrated, balancing acidity. The flavours recede as the wine leads to a moderately sustained finish. This is a light-flavoured Chardonnay showing citrus and tropical fruits and nutty oak on a well-weighted palate with good presence. Match with poultry and pork dishes over the next 3 years. California fruit fermented in stainless-steel to 13.5% alc. and 2.7 g/L RS, the wine aged with American and French oak contact. 16.5+/20 Mar 2017."
